After you have built IBM Lotus Sametime Advanced into your production environment, you’ll need to install and configure the Sametime Advanced plug-ins. Discover which clients support these plug-ins and how to obtain, install, configure, and package them. Plus, learn recommended deployment options and how to troubleshoot issues that might arise during installation.

By providing end users with IBM Lotus Sametime Advanced, they get all of the features found in Sametime Standard plus the features that Sametime Advanced provides — including persistent chat, instant share, the broadcast suite, and location services. However, without the proper direction, administrators might not know the best way to deploy these features to their end-user community.
To help you complete your Sametime Advanced deployment as quickly and cost efficiently as possible, we’ll explain which clients support Sametime Advanced, as well as how to obtain, install, configure, and package the Sametime Advanced plug-ins. You’ll also see which deployment options we recommend and how to troubleshoot various behaviors you might encounter when installing these plug-ins.
